Doug Balog

Doug Balog, a well known luxury home real estate professional with Keller Williams Realty on El Paseo in Palm Desert who joined Desert Estates Network, an invitational consortium of the best known, top producing Realtors and brokers of high end estate properties in the Coachella Valley.
In recent years Doug has been specializing in the marketing and sale of luxury homes and builder/developer new home projects. The Coachella Valley attracts buyers throughout the world and Doug is developing an international network of luxury home affiliates beyond the traditional real estate referral network to inform buyers with essential knowledge of real estate acquisition/disposition process of fine real estate in foreign countries.  

Doug Balog is a Real Estate Professional with over 30 years of practical business experience specializing in marketing real estate. Doug's real estate experience includes over 10 years in land development, commercial and industrial real estate in Edmonton, Alberta with D.A. Balog & Associates Ltd., a company he founded and sold in 1986, followed by broker/partner of a 15 office RE/MAX franchise and EVP/COO/Partner for NRS National Real Estate Services of Vancouver, B.C. which owned over 400 Red Carpet & Gallery of Homes franchises in the U.S.

Doug took a sabbatical from the real estate industry in 1994 to become co-founder of NIHA National In-Line Hockey Association, the national organizing body for amateur roller hockey for the USA, Canada, Japan, Europe and South America. NIHA was sold to the USA Hockey and Canadian Hockey associations in 1996.
Doug has invested time towards the betterment of the real estate industry chairing Political Affairs, Arbitration, Intergovernmental, Past President committees and elected as President to a Board of Realtors. Doug has been a member of several Boards of Directors for private and public companies.

Hobbies include playing ice hockey, vehicle restoration, riding his Harley Davidson, in-line skating, biking, hiking and traveling.

Cindy Rice

Cindy Rice, a licensed real estate agent and professional Executive Assistant, joined the offices of Doug Balog with KW Luxury Homes by Keller Williams on El Paseo in Palm Desert on December 1, 2005. Cindy offers over ten years of experience in assisting buyers, sellers and vendors in fulfilling client goals which has afforded Cindy the opportunity to introduce others to this dynamic community.

Cindy began her real estate career in the Palm Desert and Palm Springs area in 2001 joining Re/Max Real Estate Consultants as an Executive Assistant for ‘The House Store’ principals and in 2005 joined Doug Balog as Executive Assistant on El Paseo in Palm Desert.

Cindy’s wealth of technical real estate experience and loyalty to clients worldwide has placed her at the top of our value-added-service through our exclusive international marketing brand known as LIFESTYLE ESTATE COLLECTION® .   

Cindy’s career started as an Early Childhood Education Teacher for the La Quinta Family YMCA then in 1998 changed careers to join KDFX Fox Channel 11 and KESQ Channel 3 television stations (network ownership merger) as the Fox Kids Club Coordinator fulfilling promotional events & marketing.
As the quintessential "Queen of Multi-tasking" can tell you, successfully managing client outcomes is a bit of an art and is just as important as managing the transaction itself.

Cindy's extensive Real Estate knowledge, keen attention to detail and "can-do-attitude" towards solving challenges, rightfully earns her a reputation with clients and colleagues alike as one of their most trusted assets in real estate.

As a Coachella Valley native, Cindy has first hand appreciation for the lifestyle our beautiful valley has to offer. In addition to managing one of the most successful Real Estate offices in the desert, Cindy is also married, mom to two active boys, and BFF to Norman the chocolate lab.

Tarry Fadel

Tarry Fadel joined KW Luxury Homes by Keller Williams in March of 2011 and specializes assisting home buyers and sellers in La Quinta, Palm Desert, and Indian Wells. A Chicago transplant, Fadel's career in real estate began when she moved to the Coachella Valley in 2000. During her search for a new home, Tarry was inspired to sell real estate by the agent who was assisting her in her home search. "She noticed that I have an eye for choosing the ideal combination of location and value and offered me a job, so I took it!" says Fadel, adding, "I always look at real estate (even my personal home) with an eye on the investment value. You want a home that will make you happy, but it needs to be a good investment as well."

Ever the entrepreneur, Tarry helped found a women's golf line of apparel, where she oversaw manufacturing and distributing to pro shops and resorts all over the United States as well as Sweden, Canada and Australia. While she enjoyed the apparel industry, she has found her passion in selling real estate, finding the people who she meets rewarding, "I have several clients who have become personal friends."

Tarry firmly stands behind the old real estate addage "location, location, location" and takes the time to personally assist clients in becoming familiar with the many luxury neighborhoods in the Coachella Valley. One of her goals is to make sure that her clients are happy with their purchases. She has helped clients find the perfect country club for a winter escape, and the first time homebuyer find the perfect family home. Tarry prides herself on finding the "right home in the right location" for every client.

Alice Holmes

Alice Holmes is a licensed real estate agent specializing in new home sales in resort communities. Prior to joining the team at KW Luxury Homes by Keller Williams, Ms. Holmes spent twenty years as an educator and policy advocate. Alice later became the director of a national non-profit agency where she honed her business acumen and community development experience.

After obtaining her real estate license eight years ago, Ms. Holmes began leveraging her experience in real estate, where she became known for her negotiation skills and unparalleled customer service. In 2010, Alice earned the top producer spot in the West Coast division of a leading national home builder.

Alice has an appealing combination of business sense and people skills, giving her an edge in an industry that demands both. She is a highly successful and seasoned real estate professional with strong listening skills. Alice is a patient and skilled negotiator who makes her client's needs a priority. Alice's demonstrated skills in management, organization, and attention to detail, guides her sellers and buyers from listing and negotiation to a successful close of escrow. Alice, who is both approachable and professional says with a smile, "My goal is to help turn your dream into a reality. With knowledge, integrity, and dedication, I strive to exceed your expectations."

Born and educated in New England, Alice has also owned properties in the Mid-West, San Francisco and Southern California. Her New England roots still resonate deeply, and she currently maintains a home on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Alice's outside interests include her Scottish Terrier "Keltie, Queen of the Desert", golf, art, and history.

Brock Berry

Armed with an engaging smile and friendly manner Brock Berry quickly sets his clients at ease and guides both buyer and seller through even the most challenging transactions.

Berry was bitten by the luxury home market bug in early 2000 while working for a venture capital executive in Incline Village, Nevada. By 2005, Berry had his degree in Business from the University of Idaho (2002) and had earned his real estate license. After settling in the Coachella Valley, Berry launched his career as a real estate agent and mortgage officer where he quickly came up through the ranks. After being mentored by friend and fellow hockey player Doug Balog, he joined KW Luxury Homes by Keller Williams in February of 2011 where he specializes in handling investment and second home properties, and new home transactions for younger families.

Berry, a 2002 graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in Business was also starred as a Division 1 tennis star at the University. When he's not at work, Brock enjoys participating in two of his greatest passions: fishing and tennis, inspired by his mother, Lynn who introduced and coached him in both tennis and fishing. His father, Bob, is the legendary former NHL all-star hockey player and coach for the Kings, the Canadians, the Penguins, the Blues and the Sharks, and instilled a love of hockey in Brock at an early age.

Brock and his fiancée, Alexis, are planning their wedding which is upcoming in 2012.
